The following pages follow a similar format. Click anywhere on the map for a more detailed description of the city. The Car or boat will give you stats and figures of that leg of the trip. The stops are not set in stone... They are roughly feasable goals for a days travel..... traveling from 5 to 6 hours a day. They also lead to towns with clearly established hotels... In other words.. they are points where there will surely be something recognizable. Aside form that, it is up to the traveler. The stats and figure pages have detaile dinformation on rest stops, hotel stops and most importantly gas stations... they are from a Guia Roji (Mexican version of a Thomas Guide) updated January 2000.
